4° is a brand management agency. We exist because far too often, there is a significant gap between what is decided upon in a brand’s business strategic framework and what is subsequently perceived by the customers. How the brand transitions from its business strategy to how it is implemented in practice, making it possible to be experienced in a positive manner and thereby reinforced, is a crucial process. We understand the forces behind brands that matter and guide businesses in managing how their brand should manifest itself to the world to add real value, both for the company and the customer. We close the distance between business strategy and customer experience.
With brand assets as a starting point, we analyze the potential for development and create programs for positive change in all areas that constitute touchpoints for the brand and where brand associations are formed. We utilize insight, foresight, and optimization of ALL brand vectors to create a positive business impact for our clients.
We are not a traditional agency. We do not have fixed teams in fixed departments, and each person does not do the same thing all day. We have all worked internationally, we know the processes and methods, we have the experience and understand the strengths and weaknesses that large agencies possess. We have chosen to be an adaptive agency to deliver what we believe is vital for our clients – Brand Management.
We believe that competence, networks, experience, and ambition outweigh, for example, fixed teams in a common geographical location. We work in project groups, sometimes international, from start to finish. The group can expand or shrink, depending on what is required in different phases of a project. For example, during production, when we bring in directors, copywriters, photographers, and other specific skills, whereas in a strategic phase, a smaller number may be needed.
4° is a multidisciplinary brand management agency that looks at the entirety of our clients’ brands, all the areas where the brand has a point of contact with its customers (product/service, environment, behavior, and communication). This means that we always analyze, gain insights, and work on the areas most relevant to the brand and its objectives. Always with an optimized working group for the purpose and scope of the task. Always with a solution-neutral output that is relevant to the client’s challenge, not for a competence that happens to need engagement, as in a traditional agency.
